Charissa Thompson was born in Seattle, Washington on the 4th of May, 1982. She is one of the most well-known and wealthy Sportscasters. ESPN analyst, who was hired in 2012 as co-host of SportsNation. She co-hosted ABC's Splash series along with Joey Lawrence. Thompson was raised and born in Seattle Washington. She was the youngest of three children, and she knew she wanted to become a broadcaster at very early on. Thompson attended Inglemoor High School, Kenmore Washington. Thompson moved to California to study at a community college and obtain California residency. Then, she transferred to University of California Santa Barbara in 2004, where she earned her B.A. in Law and Society in 2004. When Sports Illustrated wrote she left Washington State (WSU) in order to pursue a degree at a community school in California after which she transferred into UC Santa Barbara Thompson has stated that she didn't attend WSU. Thompson received an invite from Sports Illustrated to do body painting in their Swimsuit Issue prior to launching her broadcasting career. The frontwoman of New York based group Against the Current came out with the EP Infinity within the next year. They first gained attention for their cover versions of popular artists on YouTube. They along With Against the Current did a collaboration with She and Against the Current did a collaboration with Alex Goot on the cover of Good Time by Owl City and Carly R. Jepsen. The collaboration made their names more prominent. The front cover of Good Time, by Owl City and Carly Rae Jerpsen really helped in growing their popularity.
