Ree Drummond (born Ree Ann Duncan) is an American blogger, writer and television personality who is a food writer and photographer. She is most famous for her website The Pioneer Woman. She is a resident of an Oklahoma ranch. In her blog, she writes about her experiences on her ranch, in Oklahoma as an individual woman as well as a mom. Pioneer Woman Pioneer Woman has been awarded with the Weblog of the Year awards in 2010 and 2009 during the Annual Weblog Awards. Her parents are originally from Bartlesville Oklahoma and she was born and raised in the area. While at college, she studied the field of journalism and gerontology. In 2006 she started her online blog pioneerwoman.typepad.com and later changed the name to Confessions of a Pioneer Woman and finally to The Pioneer Woman. Confessions remains one of several popular pages on the website. The blog earned huge fame and popularity with a number of prominent publications applauding the style of her writing and quality photos. Her blog also features visually-impressive food recipes. In 2011 she started her own television show called The Pioneer Woman which is continuing to air in the US on The Food Network. She also writes and many books are chock full of recipe for cooking. Columbia Pictures announced recently that the film adaptation of her book"From Black Heels To Tractor Wheels is scheduled to be released.

As I was a mom with one child on me and others in the cradle, I worked 12 hours a day cleaning floors and tear off wallpaper. Ha! The house was getting closer to being done, yet we were a long distance away. The project would require a lot of money effort and shopping my favorite to furnish this home. To keep the budget in check, I started going to estate sales with three sons to find gems hidden in the dirt. The weekly ritual was that we would stroll through garage and estate sales on Saturdays and Thursdays buying a mixture of antique and brand new furniture. Then I would spend the rest of my time painting and sanding out in the driveway. My first impression was like... this is the moment my love for restoring furniture was born.
