Gerina-Piller
Her conception took place on March 29, 1985, in Roswell near New Mexico. Her birth name was Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson is the daughter of Mexican parents Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. Her heritage is Mexican-American and is an American by citizenship. At a very young age, her desire to be engaged in sport was strong. Gerina started playing golf at the age of she turned 15 years old. Gerina finished her high school studies through Goddard High School. While she was in high school, she took home at the New Mexico state golf tournament. She was a volleyball player and was also a participant in state tournaments. She began attending in the University of Texas. She took home all the tournaments she played in during her senior year. During her undergrad career, she won her the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year award and the UTEP Female athlete of the Year.
